01

Medical disclaimer

RubyRhythm is designed for personal menstrual cycle tracking and educational purposes only. All content provided, including period predictions, fertility windows, and health insights, is for informational use and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. We are not healthcare providers.

The application should not be used to diagnose reproductive health conditions. RubyRhythm is not a form of contraception, and you should not rely on it to prevent pregnancy or as a primary method for pregnancy planning.

Menstrual cycles are highly individual and can be influenced by stress, illness, and lifestyle changes. Predictions are estimates and are not guaranteed to be accurate. Always consult a qualified gynecologist or healthcare professional about reproductive health, irregular cycles, or family planning. Do not disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of information or predictions found within the app.

Your use of RubyRhythm is entirely at your own risk. RubyRhythm and its developers make no guarantees regarding the accuracy of tracking data or predictions and shall not be held liable for outcomes, health issues, or damages resulting from your use of the application.

02

Privacy charter

RubyRhythm is engineered to provide cycle tracking and wellness insights without the need for a cloud-based identity. We do not view your health journey; we provide tools for you to manage it.

On-device health enclave

Menstrual cycles, symptoms, dates, and biological patterns are processed and stored locally on your physical device. We do not use central servers to store or back up your health data. We have no access to your logs and cannot reset or recover them if your device is lost because the data does not leave your hardware.

Technical telemetry and third-party interfaces

To maintain software integrity and analyze application reach, RubyRhythm interacts with limited third-party frameworks. These platforms process technical metadata, not your health logs.

  • Firebase (Google): used for real-time crash diagnostics. A pseudonymized technical report, such as hardware model and operating-system version, may be generated when the app malfunctions.
  • Attribution and analytics providers, such as Adjust or AppsFlyer: used to verify the commercial source of an installation. These tools may process technical device identifiers such as GAID or IDFA.

These partners are contractually prohibited from accessing device storage or correlating technical telemetry with your health patterns or identity.

Legal grounds for processing

  • Contractual necessity: local processing of your inputs is required to provide the tracking and prediction services you request.
  • Legitimate interests: pseudonymized technical identifiers help maintain a secure software environment and measure commercial growth.
03

Your data sovereignty

RubyRhythm grants you authority over your digital presence. We do not sell your personal or health data. Sharing is limited to the technical partners described above for operational maintenance.

  • Access and knowledge: you may ask whether your data is shared or sold.
  • Rectification: correct or modify health data directly within the app; contact the DPO about technical telemetry held by partners.
  • Erasure: uninstalling RubyRhythm immediately and permanently wipes health history from your device. You may also clear your entire history or individual entries in Settings.
  • Complaint: you may contact a regulatory authority or data protection supervisor in your jurisdiction if you believe your rights have been violated.

Retention

Health data remains on your device while the application is installed and is destroyed when you delete the app. Non-identifiable technical telemetry held by third-party partners is retained for the minimum period needed for aggregate performance analysis, typically 12 to 24 months, before permanent anonymization.

Choice and control

Although we do not sell data, you can prevent technical sharing by enabling “Limit Ad Tracking” on iOS or “Opt out of Ads Personalization” on Android.

End-user license agreement

Grant of license

RubyRhythm grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the software on a single device for personal health tracking, subject to these terms.

Usage restrictions

By using RubyRhythm, you agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the prediction algorithms, or modify, redistribute, or commercially exploit the software in any form.

Intellectual property

The RubyRhythm name, branding, and proprietary logic remain the exclusive property of the developer. This license grants a right of use, not a transfer of ownership.

Limitation of liability and termination

RubyRhythm is not a medical device and should not be used for birth control or diagnosis. Predictions are based on statistical averages and your inputs and are not guarantees of biological events. To the maximum extent permitted by law, RubyRhythm and its creators shall not be liable for accidental data loss, pregnancy, medical issues, or indirect damages resulting from use of or inability to use the software.

This agreement remains effective until terminated by you through uninstallation. We may revoke your license immediately if you violate these terms.
